My hubby and I used to dine here all the time when it first opened about 6 years ago. The food was deeee licious.
But we recently dined here for his birthday and I was very very disappointed. I assume chefs changed? The food was disgusting. I had the butternut squash ravioli and it was dry and burnt at the edges. My husband had fish, which was so-so.
Comparing how the food used to be to now, I give the restaurant 2 stars...4 stars for ambiance and 0 stars for the crappy food.
Went to this Lounge and there was a fight that broke and had to leave. I wouldn't really go back because I don't care for drama/trouble.
I was there to have a good time and unfortunately didn't really enjoy the atmosphere or the food/drinks.
I was told there are a lot of fights that happen here, but really didn't think it would happen when I visited the place. I guess reviews were right.
My club is having an event at Minx and a huge turnout came. There has to be at least 500 people all jam-packed into a place the size of a condo. I must say- the venue is a bit too small and a bit too crowded- but the decor of the joint is nicely set up, with nice, open lighting. Even though there were people bumping into me (especially that bro that bump into me while holding my drinks) I never felt claustrophobic.
The drinks are a bit too pricey, $10 for all drinks sizes, but are well-mixed and are strong. The bartender are chill folks. The valet service is exclusive, quick with your car. And the security there are quick to stop anyone acting up. No need to feel unsafe there.
Pretty cool... Never expected to see a club similar to the ones like in Hollywood... close by home as MINX is. Really dramatic interior decoration and fun effects! Love the lounge seating boots and the crazy color shots that they bring by!
Just one little thing I didn't like, too much wanabe gangsters... Come on now, if you see a girl is already with someone dude.. why still approch her to start a fight with the guy shes with thinking she'd like you more? NO! Please go home to mommy. We don't need people like you trying to pick a fight, just because you think your cool?!?
Also, the owner of MINX need to higher more bouncers on each side of the doors, since kids under 21 are sneaking in. (Well, whats the whole point of having it be a club that only 21+ if kids are coming in thinking their the cool one when their not.

Extremely disappointed. Three people in my party got food poisoning. Will not be back.
I went here for Thanksgiving brunch and I remember every detail like it was yesterday. They opened at noon and that's when our reservation was. When we arrived we had to wait for a table. (We were the first people there! The place was empty!) After they finally seated us, we had to wait to go to the buffet line because the food was not ready! When we finally were allowed to start the buffet, the food was cold! And they didn't have any of the appetizers that were advertised. Also missing were many of the desserts that were on the advertised menu.
And to top it all off, three out of six people in my party were sick the rest of the day and all night. What a great way to spend my Thanksgiving!
Don't know what it is about this place but I luv the decor, food, music & their happy hour prices/selection are definately a tease to give it a try.

This is the most ridiculous waste of decent space that I have ever been too. The decor is a bit over the top but it would be ok if anything else had an edgy match. The food is small in portions but big in price. The club is overhyped (by management only). Don't even make the mistake of calling to inquire about hosting a large party here from your cell phone or you will be put onto an automatic text messaging BS scam the second they register your number.
Valet parking??? In a parking lot that has ample spots and only shares the space with an In and Out burger??? Really?
Dress code? What!?! This isn't the Sunset strip. Cluster F@#K pretty much all around.
You guys gotta a good thing going if you can turn it around and make it about the quality of the food and the ambience that surrounds you.
I celebrated my birthday here this past Saturday and had an amazing time!! Drunken time with good friends, good music, good service, and good venue = 5 stars :)
Um Negative reviews? - don't be fooled by these complaints about strict security. Yes, security was strict, but for good reason for a club that fills up fast. But once you get in, you're greeted by spacious dance floors and lounge areas. -which can be rare to find in Hollywood.
The 5 stars goes to the AMAZING SERVICE from Loriann, who is the sweetest promoter ever and MADE SURE me and my 50+ friends were all able to get in and have a great time.
The venue is great for large parties, which I was so stressed out in finding a good location that could fit so many of my friends without the hassle of waiting in line for hours and forced to pay cover.
My friends are all heavy drinkers, so we got bottle service and it was very worth it; we got 3 bottles of vodka which was literally gone in 60 seconds but the bottle service staff was very attentive. Our table was an outdoor cabana, huge space that could seat at least 15 people.
Music was great, it's nice that our cabana was situated closely to the outside DJ and dance floor which played a mix of house and popular mash ups.
Valet was only $10 I believe, which is much better than paying $20 in Hollywood. Also, across from Minx is In n Out, so late night munchies? It's all there!
This review is for the club on Friday night. Never been here but my friend was in a little fashion show.
It was puro latin flava last night but there were no cute papis. tsk tsk tsk* HAHAHA.....Valet parking only. I don't know how much it costs i think $10? There was a little line up front but my friend knew someone so we didn't have to wait. It's a nice place. Spacious & not too crowded. There were 2 different dance areas. Drinks were well made.
Meh. I wouldn't go back on a friday night.
I don't understand why some of the ratings for this club are so low. I have been here on several occasions and have had a blast each time!
The lines are not too long and it's much easier to get in here than to Hollywood clubs. Once inside, the lounge is very spacious and you can actually breathe. There are several different dance floors, including both indoor ones and outdoor ones and they play a variety of music, all good to dance to. The drinks are reasonably priced and good too. The ambiance is very comfortable and there are nice sofas to hang out on the patio area.
I live in Pasadena and this is one of the closest clubs to go to on the North side if you don't want to drive all the way to Hollywood and look for parking. Oh yeah, they have fast valet service too and there is an In-N-Out right next door if you are hungry after the club closes. ;)
